Indian Women can wear saree or tank top and jeans or salvar kameez. There is no religious restriction

And those who say burqa is for free will just answer this honestly

Girls in chandni chowk area (old delhi muslim dominated area) come to the metro station wearing a burqa. Then they go to the washroom and change to tank top and jeans to catch a metro to go to other parts of delhi.

When they return they do the reverse process and change back to burqa before going home. Does this represent free will?

I am with you my fellow Hindus when you say that Burqa and long beard should not be allowed in public places. Can you apply same logic to Sikhs and ask them to shave off their beards and remove Patkas????

The thing is.. religious symbolism can be allowed but it should not be over the top. If Sikhs can wear turban than Muslims should be allowed to wear skull caps. Hindus can wear tika on their forehead.

Extreme cases like hindus wearing full saffron gear and muslims wearing burkha etc should not be allowed in schools etc.

You have a good point dear but here you are suggesting that we should not have problems with sikhs coz kesh is mandatory. Going by this logic, there are many things mandatory for muslims which would not be digestible to non-muslims. Can muslims practice many of their 'mandatory' laws?

now, i never said sari is a religious compulsion but this dress is forced upon women.
about burka example you gave. its the perfect example that if those women do not want to wear burka at educational institute they could do that there too but they wear it with free will that is why they don't change at institute's washroom.

now lets come to sari part........how is saari comparable to burka??
saari doesnt hide women?? does it??heck even saris are more revealing than jeans

why are you so insistive on forcing the women to show their bodies to you?
saris are more revealing than jeans and you are supporting it against a dress which hides women body from the lustful eyes of man?
isn't it a crime against women to force them to show their bodies to everyone?
