We need to highlight these sacrifices of our brothers and sisters belonging to the minorities. Why? For those imbeciles who for years have fed our people the seeds of hate and division. You know who these people are. It must be displayed in plain sight over and over again that Pakistan belongs as much to one imaginary group of people as it does to the other until these 'groups' seize to exist in the social landscape of Pakistan. These sacrifices need to be showcased on a pedestal, not because they are a rare occurrence, not because they are more special than the others', but because every Pakistani child needs to grow up knowing that every 'sort' of Pakistani has worked, sacrificed and bled for this land and hence that child is in debt and bound to every single one of them.
