Secondly, it would be futile because when Islam came about it cleaned up some things and modern Muslim socialism added to it. And there are some more things to be adopted. For example land to be a societally-owned resource instead of private ownership. Many of India's 30 million pending court cases are about land. This issue will be automatically solved through a socialist socio-economic system where there is no private ownership of land. Further please read this new economic system that I have proposed.

To explain the basis : Islam is not a divinity-bound religion like Hinduism and Christianity. Islam is not another way of prayer. It is for the most part a progressive socio-economic system that can form the framework of a welfare state society. Things like Zakat and then the procedure for weddings and so on.

So to answer your question, yes True Islam allows secularism in the Gaddafi / Assad style and not in Zia-ul-Haq style. Not be obsessed about building mosques but to strive in creating a welfare state.

This is explanation of your stance. Kindly back up your claim with evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. I would again like to point out that I am not concerned with styles of Gaddafi, Assad, Zia, Iqbal or Pervaiz. For us Muslims, principles of Islam are derived from Quran and Sunnah, the final authority rests with the Quran, it is the final verdict on all matters. We dont follow some random fallible personalities.

People in Bangladesh who insult prophet ( pbuh ) aren't silly. They are actually pseudo hindutva who are hiding under the coat of secularism.

May be you are a true secular ,but pseudo hindutva aren't secular. Their aim is to create anarchy in Bangladesh by agitating common folks. So surely the punishment was necessary in order to maintain social order.

DHAKA: A Hindu has been jailed for seven years in Muslim-majority Bangladesh for insulting the Prophet Mohammed on Facebook, a prosecutor said Thursday.

Although Bangladesh is officially secular, criticism of Islam is taboo in the conservative nation of 168 million people and violent protests have previously erupted over social media posts deemed blasphemous.

Jibon Krishna Roy, a security guard, was found guilty late Wednesday of posting "obscene, derogatory and objectionable comments on Prophet Mohammed", prosecutor Nazrul Islam Shahim said.

The offence falls under the country's controversial internet laws.

"The judge of the cybercrime tribunal in Dhaka sentenced him to seven years in jail," Shamim told AFP.

Last year four people were killed and nearly 50 injured after police fired on thousands of Muslims protesting against a Facebook post by another Hindu man.

He was charged with inciting religious tension in a case still being heard in court.

In 2016, angry Muslims attacked Hindu temples over a Facebook post they said mocked one of Islam's holiest sites.

In 2012, meanwhile, Muslim mobs torched Buddhist monasteries, houses and shops in coastal Cox's Bazar district after a photo of the Koran that was considered defamatory was posted online by a young Buddhist.
