I don't think anyone has to be defensive abt ppl moving from one country to another. ppl do it all the time and to get asylum / visa will also speak what the host wants to hear.

Its just one incident, if pakistanis want to take note, fine, if not, fine. Ppl leave india all the time because they are not happy, i think its a positive development that people get a choice.

Pakistanis dont have to be defensive about this. They moved from tribal areas of NWFP , where Taliban would have made life miserable for them and also common muslims.

I would say the majority of Pakistanis here (educated people) would have done the same thing and moved (at least to Peshawar or similar cities) because no educated and liberal person would want to live under Taliban.

Being Pakistanis, they could move to many cities in Pakistan where they could practise their religion in peace without hindarance. Pakistan is still a democracy with liberty and justice for all its citizens.
