Which could mean anything, from a "greater role" in UN peacekeeping operations, to a greater role as a non-permanent member or in the general assembly.
I'll wait till the Chinese government explicitly says that they support India for a permanent seat, like Obama did. Rather than relying on excitable Indian news reports, that twist the words of the Chinese foreign ministry.
Not that it particularly matters anyway, since a permanent seat is useless without veto power.
