In Bangkok and Hong Kong (I have visited both places), the crime rates against women are negligible, and yet conservatively dressed women are a rare sight.

I find it hilarious that Muslims "champion" women rights and claim that by making their women dress like ninjas, they are protecting them from their own (male) perversion. Why should the woman lock herself up because you can't keep your weiner in your pants when you see a female? Lock yourslf up if you can't control your animalistic sexual urges. Funnily enough, the Taliban who used to publically execute women for showing 1 cm of skin would go to orphanages and take little boys and girls to rape.

They are the biggest hypocrites on planet earth. Even in Pakistan the same mullahs who take up arms to "protect" women are child rapists. One often hears of these stories through little columns in Dawn newspaper "qari rapes student" etc.

Anyone who has read the book or seen the movie "The Kite Runner" will be aware of the perverted, evil nature of these mullahs who want to lock up women yet rape children or have gay sex to fulfill the sexual frustration that they themselves have created.

I think treating women worse than animals surely reflects poorly on Islamic countries. At least cows and dogs can roam wherever they like in Peshawar and Kabul.

India, for that matter, isn't much better in this regard.

Our ancient hedonistic past notwithstanding, modern India is highly conservative, which is quite ironic considering that indospheric countries like Thailand are so liberal.
