Islam allows eating of many animals and birds that are banned in all Islamic countries including Pakistan.

I am against beef ban because I do not think religious sentiments should be taken that seriously. But I also reject this ridiculous victimhood complex riddled notion that a pro hindu move is automatically anti muslim but every pro muslim move is just "secular".

Exactly. People think cow slaughter ban is only food issue, it is not. It is similar to how burning quaran or bible is a crime even if a hindu does it. It come under religious ambit. If they want cow slaughter to be legal, should make burning religious books legal too.
