There is much talk about tribes/ethnicity on this forum so I would like to share my DNA results with you.

My father said his dad was from the Kahlan tribe, and my mothers dad said he was from the Kahlan.

I have the same Y-DNA as Sayyid Ajjal Shams al-Din Omar al-Bukhari (https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/exploring-dna-zheng-he-chinas-greatest-admiral.593172/)

Common Y-DNA relatives include the Druze population of Israel, Qhatan of Yemen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qahtanite) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kahlan) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Druze)
Distant history doesn't count. As you intermarry, your functional DNA changes a lot. The 'marking' DNA which is traced back to Central Asia is just for name only.

What matters is where were your ancestors in 1940s, 1930s, 1920s and 1910s. The ancient DNA stops working. The recent DNA is still functional and shows in your behaviour.
