I think, in the IRGC the structures are in many ways the same, but fortunately, in Iran the trainees don't start at this young age, in Iran it is in teenage age.

I don't think they will recieve military training in such a young age like our own elementry basij they will mostly have ideological courses, I think their training will start at 15 or more, when I was 15 or so for the first time they took me to firing field and I fired about 8 or 10 bullets with an AK(I think in Iran they take all of the boys in that age to firing field امادگی دفاع&#1740.

The reason why Spartans managed to successfully defend their areas was because of a geographical advantage and being heavy infantry over Persian light infantry, and due to their tactics applied (phalanx), etc. Their spears were superior to the Persian equivalent too.

Yes. That is what I explained, including detail of the whole situation, The whole aggression was created by the Greeks who would sneak in at night and set Villages inside Persian empire on fire. And the only reason Spartans won that battle was due to the fact that fighting ground(read geographical) on the mountain was such a narrow way that not even 10 guys could fit into that area at a time and freely move about and fight. Resulting in being easily pushed back and defeated.
