AISF is against BJP even before the day it came into power. They see BJP and RSS through one prism, as if they are one entity and work hand in hand, which is totally false. BJP since coming into power have moved away from RSS. Their hate for RSS is justified but linking of BJP with RSS on every aspect is ridiculous. Fine Nathuram Godse is the face of RSS, then why is not Emergency, Babri face of Congress. Hating BJP is trend in JNU, and their professors support them in it, who may have political tilt. They say BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant, BJP is intolerant. And this has become universal truth for every 'progressive', 'cool', 'trendy' student in JNU, and those who disagree with them becoming rightist, communal and intolerant. This is nothing but self rightousness, having their brains locked under an assumption, and forming future arguments based on that assumption is everything but progressive independent thinking.

These students are right on certain things, but most of them are sheeps in herd, being led by a person who is in college for past 8+ years, who in between all these right causes has his own agenda of promoting independent Kashmir which he will never disclose openly with the support of those sheeps in herd who are ready to question others, but are not willing to question themselves even once. Their leader might be religiously self motived to promote his agenda, if his fellows can blow themselves up in the name of religion, then this is nothing. And funny thing is you can't say him on his face, because he will play victim and say, see i was right you are communal and minority oppressor. These same students who brag about standing with every good cause whether in India or Pakistan or anywhere else in the world, ignore Kashmiri Pandits who were thrown out of their land and those Muslims who are not even given voices to speak in Pakistan occupied Kashmir.

Although these studends were shouting anti-India, pro independent Kashmir slogans, these are just students they should have been ignored. But BJP took the bait, and in all this poor guy Kanhiya Kumar was arrested.

And today in parliament, Mayavati and her allies, Congress and likes all were accusing BJP of arresting these studends for oppressing their voices for protesting Dalits, Rohith Vemula and what not. They are being typical politicians, nothing new here. Same is the case in media. But in all this political war, our India is hurting real bad. And opposition don't give a damn about it, because they don't care about India or its image. Their lust to come into power is ugly.

Here is the vice president of AISF accusing BJP of no development (this video was uploaded on Sept 2014, just days after BJP came into power). And she is cursing Congress for scams and how secular Congress let down the minories (poor Congress, needs to do more). In the end she says "modi ko sweekar nhi karenge, usko bahar karne ki takat rakhte hai, or usko bahar karke rahenge". If this is not blind hatred the what?

But yes, it was a provocative speech, I see this as the rise of AAP 2.0.
Not that I am against AAP, there was a time when I felt that AAP has been able to make the stalwarts in BJP and Congress sit up and take notice of them. And also, it ensured that the activities within political parties were transparent.
But now AAP, is merely an anti-govt organisation or may be its leader is.
