Help us to remove Modi: Mani Shankar
The Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has re-ignited another row by asking Pakistan to help defeat Narendra Modi government because it is only Congress party that can resume dialogue with Pakistan.
Mani Shankar said, “Remove Modi and get us back to resume dialogue.”
Many reactions have come on this statement of his-
Sambit Patra, BJP Spokesperson condemned the statement of Aiyar saying, “Mr. Mani Shankar should not only come out and apologise for his statement. Sonia Gandhiji, the President of Congress should not only clarify but also sack Mani Shankar ji.”
Shakeel Ahmad, Congress leader, “One should avoid making such statements.
Congress seems to have distanced itself from Mani stating, “What Mani has said is his personal opinion, not party’s view.”
Even after knowing the kind of sour relationship India-Pakistan is sharing since the past several months, such a statement by an Indian and that too also a politician does not really put India in a good light.
