One hell of a system i must say. Dont know if condition is as much rosy as it looks on paper

that was generally the system until the 2011 nato invasion.

Here in govt hospitals giving things free is a curse. Few months back pts attendent broke a vial of MethylPrednisolone without any remorse since it was free govt suppy but were crying foul when asked to buy a strip of becosule. Giving anything free is not a good idea in my opinion.

well, if the society is guided by hardcore socialism then everything will be comfy and without fear of any careless attitude going unpunished... actually, everything should for free, with the exchange-value for goods and services being the two socialist credos "one who produces, can consume" and "from each according to capacity, to each according to need".

Talked to a senior resident in internal medicine. Drug costs around 40 thousand indian rupees. Asked one other friend he was busy. Will update once he survives 36 hr duty and calls back.

In karachi SIUT and Indus hospital is free pt care for all , SIUT is only for UT related problems , even transplant is free but indus is a tertiary care hospital ,yes she would have to come to karachi for treatment, not checked specifically crohns disease but everything -- even a by pass is free from zakat fundand donations

It is bad to get chrons at an early age. The history is sketchy and the diagnosis does not appear to have been established by anything that I can see. For all I know she could have TB of the Intestines. My advice take her to a GATROENTEROLOGIST at KE or FJ. She will hopefully have a formal diagnosis and treatment.
Infliximab is not the only treatment for crohns. Before that you can try a combination of treatment with either pentosa + steroids or AZT. Even in UK they would not try infliximab from the word go.
