Means that there are different ways to speak Arabic. Arabic went outside Arabia and got mixed with local languages in some places. In Morocco they speak a different flavor of Arabic its called dareeja. Tunisians have other Arabic .Algerians-the same .
Syria , Iraq and suadis speakthe best Arabic and pure Arabic which is almost entirely different than north Africans Arabic .so all these are called dialects of the language . .I guess if you are in Pakistan , you know classical ) Saudi Arabia only.
