Sir I am sure you are also unaware that pakistan not is the name of a city, but is actually a huge huge country.
I am sure you are one of the privileged class and also move among privillaged classes...
But sir you cannot deny the facts.
The situation is worse.
The child and general malnutrition is a huge problem.
Plus the meance of cousins marriage is also a huge problem.

Yaar my dad was 5 10.
I am 6 1
My son is 6 4.

Thats three generations.

But i agree current situation is bad. Vegetable oil is being sold as milk by Multinationals such as Nestle in Pakistan and people feed it to their kids thinking it's milk when its not.
But even then it cant change our genetics so quickly.

Btw, cousin marriages would maintain height, not cause it to drop. Intermarriage with short people would actually cause it to drop. There are many reasons for avoiding cousin marriage, this is not one of them.

As it is, height has increased markedly last 15-20 years. I am 5-10, aged 35. Amongst my age I am slightly above average. Teens these days are normally 5-11 at a minimum. I see 6-2, 6-3 everyday.

Sounds about correct on everything in this post... Anyway, avoid cousin marriages...

You're right. A BSc (hons) with a degree in human diet and development and with decades worth of records and research is lying because he's short. There is also no terrorism in Pakistan, its just a conspiracy by afghans who have terrorists in their country.

The height that's being talked about is AVERAGE height. In the cities most receive appropriate diets which is why they achieve the height they're meant to achieve where as people in villages and poor areas which make up 80% of our population are malnutritioned which is why they don't grow properly, coincidentally the fertility rates in such areas are also extremely high but are low in the cities. The result ? 50 years worth of exponential growth of malnutritioned people while the privileged having only 2 or 3 children and hence the national AVERAGE coming down 4 inches. Makes sense ?

You're one to talk about brain cells. This thread is only referring to the effect of malnutrition in Pakistan. But in case you haven't realised malnutrition is a problem throughout the subcontinent which means heights are falling all around the subcontinent you cabbage head.

50 years ago there was more poverty and less to eat. But apart from that genetics also play role, for exemple marasi from Lahore is genetically handicapped to get taller despite eating donkey meat.

Lmao i knew a particular pakistani guy who was always sour at every other Pakistani cause he was short heighted 5.5 something n couldnt find a girl of his choice despite being in jis late 20s ;apparently he wanted some beautiful faced girl despite his own ugly looks. his fathers wealth n his own good job still couldnt find him a partner. Then he used to resort to insulting and bad mouthing every other person on planet.

No harm in being short heighted and a face that noone will throw a second look at but atleast grow an ego equal to size of ur height

Its funny because I'm the one eating donkey but you're the one with reduced IQ which is why simple maths seems to be a challenge for you. 50 years ago there were 8 malnutritioned people and 2 healthy people. Healthy people (meaning privilege) have low children on average, where as malnutritioned have high fertility rates. 50 years later there are 80 malnutritioned people and 10 healthy people which brings down the AVERAGE height. PM me if you still don't get it

I'm still highly sceptical, village life cannot have gotten that worse so quickly, people have been living this village life for so long, any ill-effects shouldn't randomly start now.

It didn't get worse. Its just that the malnourished population in the villages has grown exponentially and hence shadows the healthy population. But yes ofcourse one can still be skeptical about it as data collection is a major challenge in this research.
