Coming from a citizen of a country who is firmly in US camp since 1947, I would take this comment with a pinch of salt

It is Pakistan which acts as puppet always. It was a puppet of USA for several decades and is a puppet of USA till now and Pakistan will be the puppet of China in the future.

And the advice fits every country, not just India. Be nice to neighbors of they will not like you.

It's not the US of A that doesn't encourage good India-Pak relations. It's the PA that won't let peace prevail between us and never will because of its vested interest. If there's peace, the Army will have no reason to gobble up almost 20% of Pakistan's GDP and they'll become non entities relegated to their barracks! Would they ever want that to happen? Simple answer - NEVER!

True. If there is peace b/n India and Pakistan the biggest losers will be Pakistan Armed Forces as they will be forced to reduce their size, budget and power. They will lose their reason to run industries ranging from sugar mills to cement factories, have the final say in country's foreign policy and moreover will be answerable to civilian leaders.
