In my opinion siachen and Kargil are not worth fighting for at all. Not even one blade of grass grows in those areas. No signs of human settlement. More of a ego issue. Pakistan should go ahead and annex some parts of Indian occupied Punjab to compensate. Will be far more valuable land tbh

I agree Pakistan should give up its claim on siachen I feel sad when natural disasters like Gayari avalanches took valuable life of Pakistani soldiers.. as for annexing fertile punjab .. there would be no fertile punjab when India decided to block even the single River .. You know there is a reason rivers of kashmir called jugular veins but don't fear India is honouring IWT....

Thats exactly the same mentality resulted in loosing kashmir unnecessarily. when nehru asked jinnah to give india hydrabad and take kashmir, he replayed " i am not a fool to give plains for mountains". At the end he lost both(+ east pak).

When was the avalanche in siachen took the life of 140 soldiers in one incident .. Did you forget Indian army occupied the commanding heights in siachen after evicting Pakistan army by millitary action...Pak army is more prone to avalanche as it is on foothills.
