Visiting Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education Seyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi to India said here on Sat. that India is a good opportunity to deal with sanctions imposed by US against Iran.
Indian officials are interested in enhancing and broadening all-out ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran in all fields, Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education Seyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi said today in New Delhi.
He made the above remarks at the end of his three-day visit to India adding that to counter US sanctions imposed on Iran, it is a great opportunity to take advantage of talents which are less costly and cost-effective.
Qazizadeh Hashemi added, “World Summit on Maternal, Child and Nutrition Healthcare was held in India with the participation of health ministers of countries in the world.”
He went on to say that constructive talks were exchanged with Indian health minister and CEOs of pharmaceutical companies in relevant field.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he pointed to the current situation of the country and added, “expert-level talks were held with 50 Indian pharmaceutical firms, so that all of them expressed their readiness to broaden their level of cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Iranian health minister termed India as one of the important powers in the field of medicine, supply of raw materials and vaccine and added, “Prestigious Indian drug and vaccine production companies hold a major portion of European and American markets.”
In conclusion, Iranian Minister of Health called for increasing cooperation with Indian pharmaceutical firms in relevant field.
Earlier on Friday, Hashemi announced that Indian pharmaceutical companies will receive support from the Iranian government to facilitate their investment and activities in Iran.
Iran has taken long strides in the field of health and hygiene.
In a relevant development last week, hundreds of Iranian and European specialists and heart surgeons participated in the 2nd International Iran-Europe CTO-Caspian Meeting held at Razavi Hospital in the Northeastern city of Mashhad.
The congress, which was initiated in areas of congenital, structural and valve diseases, as well as chronic obstructive vascular diseases, with the presence of the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi started at the Razavi Hospital last Wednesday.
300 lectures on new subjects, 200 of which by foreign lecturers, and 100 lectures by the Iranian physicians were presented in fifty sections.
In this congress with a special focus on education, more than twenty live case and live inbox operations took place at the Razavi Hospital.
