By sattelite and install ( or get installed )

Get a HD Box

Plug it in with the satellite cable

enjoy .

Don't Indian Dish services work in Pakistan? If they do then get one of those with a HD box as a second connection, you can watch espn, star sports and other sports channels, NatGeo, Discovery, English movies etc in HD and then switch to the Pakistani SD box/cable for Pakistani contents.

yea cable tv is really crap and there is no use of HD tv if you watching cable tv on it then better stick to standard tv because it don't make any difference..even it worse because of bigger screen

Jadoo tv is good for Pakistani News channels and Pakistan entertainment channels and youtube, other than that I don't find it special by the way i know jadoo tv owner is non muslim Pakistani in US and he is in US using technology and design from another company he might get into copyright and copyright infringement if I report him.

Well here Rogers and other Carriers provide HD Premium channels on Cables/receivers but my neighbor i went to his home when he bought new HDTV for $2000 but to tell you the truth those HD channels most of them seems like blurred i told him to call bestbuy professionals they came checked and found nothing wrong and the culprit is so called HD channel receiver the service is poor. But I think normal channels on a big TV looks better than a conventional tube tv so i would recommend cable is just fine atleast you can watch ten sports-discovery-nat geo-S Sports if still available.

Dude we don't have any local HD channel in pakistan. I was talking about watching HD channels from all over the world

Yea i was looking for some like dish tv, air tel and tata on this website

Don't worry try cable on your HDTV you will like it if not then PTCL If not then dish satellite system [do some research and let me know as well i want it too miss those days of FTA have that coolsat 7000 in basement lol]

First of all those Pakistani local channels are not in HD, so you can get a cable connection and switch between both.

I don't know but I heard long time back that those were available in Pakistan illegally, so there must be some kind jugaad in Pakistan for recharging.

I am using cable right now but picture quality is very poor. Its very cheap but picture is blurry and not clear..

I will think about PTCL smart tv option if they have good quality picture but my broadband in Pakistan is basic so i dont know if PTCL smart tv will operate well on slow connection

Try dream box HD and you can install channels over Linux i think or get someone who knows how to do it.

yea you are right local channels are not in HD but still picture quality of pakistani channels are very poor on this cabe tv. I dont know if something is wrong with my cable network providers. they give connection to so many people and its even less than 3 pounds a month

yea i will do some research about indian HD satelite box before getting one because HD box has no use if you cannot recharge it in future

I'll post later short clips of Jadoo TV channels on my old hdtv that I only use for Xbox 360 in basement but I believe you need 4MB-6MB internet connection. Will record it with SGII.

Watch it free from apple tv 2 jailbreak it then install Nitotv and Xbmc ,xbmc for desi channel and Nitotv for english channel live with new movie release too.
