Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said India has told the US that it will resolve the ongoing dispute with China via talks on its own. Speaking at E-Agenda Aaj Tak, Rajnath Singh said all efforts are being made to resolve the issue with China.

“Yesterday (Friday) I spoke to the Secretary Defence of the US and I told him that India has a set mechanism under which we resolve our disputes with China, both at the military and diplomatic level. The mechanism is in place and our talks are on with China,” Rajnath Singh said.

His comments come days after US President Donald Trump said he is willing to mediate between India and China to resolve the ongoing dispute in Ladakh region over the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

We have informed both India and China that the United States is ready, willing and able to mediate or arbitrate their now raging border dispute. Thank you!

“India is trying to ensure that this tension does not escalate. Engagements are on with China both at the military and diplomatic level. Even china has said it wants to settle this via dialogue,” Rajnath Singh said.

He said the country must remain assured that the government will never compromise with the country’s honour. “India has always tried to maintain a peaceful relation with its neighbours. We do not seek to challenge any nation.”

Asked about the dispute with Nepal over Lipulekh and Kalapani regions, Rajnath Singh said, “Nepal is our brother. We will settle our difference via dialogue.”

We really don't see the need for anyone else to get involved in our disputes with China. Neither side intends war, in my opinion, and that of many others; China is in an irritable mood and is showing her irritation, and it is a question of neither over-reacting nor allowing medium-term losses of territory or of strategic advantage.

but i thought there was no incursion as some bhartis are going upside down on PDF to prove it

Talks? Really! What happened to mighty elephant bringing the dragon to it's knees? Or all that tough talk is exclusive for Pakistan only?

.
US is hell bent to use India as its pawn against China, India knows it so well that US is never a trustworthy partner in anything.

In case you have not noticed it yet, unlike some simple-minded idiots elsewhere in the world, we have not been particularly infatuated with the US.

Bro, you trying to brainwash the Indians?

Brain?

What brain?

We're on PDF.

Talks? Really! What happened to mighty elephant bringing the dragon to it's knees? Or all that tough talk is exclusive for Pakistan only?

Exclusive for frigid Pakistanis only.

You have nothing to worry about.

shsh! its mating season in bharat baboons thump their boobies to attract opposite sex!
You would know.

Along expected lines. Doubt if even a single bullet was fired. India will just ramp up building the long delayed infrastructure projects at the border.

. . . . .
Of course!

I park it on the bookshelf before opening the page.

Think I'd risk irreparable harm to it?

Glad that you mentioned it, need to be more careful engaging with a Zombie.

The official Sunny Leone representative appears to be @HRK. I would be happy to introduce you.
I'll pass. Thank you very much.
