Have No Position on Kashmir Issue: Arab League

.
by surrendering to INDIA

wishful hindustany thinking....however our stance is remaining unchanged, so indians can continue to do what they do best.....empty words, rhetoric and day-dreaming

.
Does that explain why India isn't a part of the 'Organisation of the Islamic Conference' whereas Pakistan is?

And even after that, they are not supported, it does speaks volumes, what?

since our empty words are enough to keep your martial army from taking Kashmir, I guess that's a relatively cheap fix.

.
the indians are acting as if this is their victory, though i fail to see tha part where the A.L. ever supported hindustani stance on occupied Kashmir

so i fail to see what their ruckus is about here

Compare AL's views on Palestinian issue vs Kashmir issue.

AL,all its members included wholeheartedly support the Palestinian cause, as a cause for Muslim brotherhood, even though many members have developed good diplomatic relations with the State of Israel.

Pakistan, OTOH, always viewed Kashmir through its narrow religious tinted glasses, hoping to shore up support for its "cause" by playing the religion card. AL is NOT BUYING that. And that in itself is quite an achievement for Indian diplomatic efforts. Not to mention that India is home to more than a 100 million Muslims.

And that, my friend, is the "ruckus".

Dispute with India

India has also hit out at the OIC for supporting UN demands for a plebiscite in Kashmir. Further to this, during the 2008 Amarnath land transfer imbroglio the OIC’s condemnation of the “ongoing excessive and unwarranted use of force against the Kashmiri people” was met by an Indian response that said: “The OIC has once again chosen to comment upon Jammu and Kashmir and India’s internal affairs on which it has no locus standi. . . . To call for international involvement in the sovereign internal affairs of India is gratuitous [and] illegal, and [it] only reflects reversion to a mindset that has led to no good consequences for Pakistan in the past.”[45] The UN stated that it was “concerned” about the “violent protests” in Kashmir and the reaction from the Indian state and called for restraint from both sides.

They are already luke warm for not taking sides. Smart move I say. Not everyone wants to get themselves involved for India? :azn:

OIC stands for 'Organization of Islamic Conference'. The name explains what the requirement is for becoming a member. Only those countries which have adopted Islam as the basis of their constitution, are its members. Indian Constitution, OTOH, is based on secularism.

dude- you have no control over 1/4 of your own country , and you want more land to govern !!!?

.
err..the kind of relationship is described in your post, and the behaviour of the Arab league dont seem to go hand in hand, rather its exactly the opposite.

If their actions are indeed opposite, then in what ways does this benefit India?

Yes and the history of religious ties matters a great deal too in geo-politics.

it explains that they are not an Islamic country hence not part of it? nor interested to be a part of it?

Nobody gives two hoots about your stance, you can prance all you want nancy.
also, you have maintained that stance for more than 50 years with nothing to show except loosing half of your country, its time you give those muscles some much needed relief.

if you feel that way --then also look towards your own country where naxalites are in control or have influence in 1/3 of your country (''single biggest threat to india'' as per your own PM's admission)

and you want more land to govern??!! Land where the people yell ''go india go back'' on a daily basis --where the Pakistani flag is waved and where August 15th is declared a ''black day in history'' on a daily basis???
