Mobs have become violent . I still haven't seen a Hindu blowing up, beheading strangers and shooting school kids.

very true sir. for years Hindus were silent. but now we are fighting for our rights. After all this is our land. we are the sons of soil. we have no problem Muslims living here but they should respect our faith.

Hello seniors ! All of a sudden it seems at least from the outset that India has become a bit more violent. Can we have your honest opinions.

Does it have to do with the PM's antagonistic relation with the media leading upto his election or these reporting point to something sinister ?

There is not much change in the scenario in India..... Such issues used to happen even before..... And the statistics shows that communal issues are reduced over a year......

The issue has been portrayed in a way that people are getting a feeling that the scenario has changed...... I think media is to be blamed for it..... and There are few idiots in HIndu organisations who give the opportunity to highlight the issue with their idiotic statements....

Yes there is a bit of enthusiasm among the so called "Hindutvavadi groups", and as one shiv sena leader said " We Know Modi as Modi of "Godhra"...... But these guys doesn't know he is not the same modi which he used to be or portrayed to be.....

Most of the media In India has their own agenda, at times it is political at times it is purely business aka TRP..... and Most of the time PM doesnt suit them...... and there is not much done from govt to change situation by persuading them......

So,what's your opinion about drawing cartoons of Prophet Mohammad(PBUH) or for that matter drawing pictures of the Supreme Lord/Allah??I am only asking you this because if your above logic is to be applied then drawing something is also the fundamental right of an individual in a secular country like India but still if you try to draw the above pictures openly in this country you would be instantly arrested for showing disrespect towards the religious belief of a particular community!!So,is it fair to arrest and jail someone just because of drawing some random images that too in a secular country like India!!

Muslims are the largest community in India followed by dalits.Hindus don't identify themselves with their religion.

Exactly... A hindu maravan will allow his daughter to marry a maravan even if he follows christianity, but not a hindu of some other caste even if the boy is from some upper caste. Even nadars, vanniyars do the same in TN.

I do follow indian muslims group at facebook and most of the times muslim dislike him and against his policies. May some may even support him but majority don't. Neither I have any figure how much are against him nor u have any figure how much favours him but let me assure majority hates him talking about muslims. And think as extremist hindu.
