Well, some simple googling will let you know, Bangladesh is a country with 98% Bengali ethnicity, 90.4% Muslim, more than 80% hanafi sunni, almost all millenials are literature, no tribalism, no feudalism, no casteism, no militant political ideology that challenges our current governance system etc...

The more the rate of literacy increases, the more GDP per capita (PPP/nominal) will increase, and the less foreign powers/elements will be able to manipulate local population for their own ends.

In Bangladesh RAB cracks down on opposition and Jamaat followers labelling them as wahabis in fact 99.9% of them are Hanafi Sunni Muslims who aren’t wahabis.

Any Muslim in the sub continent who adheres strictly following the Quran and Sunnah is labeled as wahabi nowadays. Any Muslim in the subcontinent who questions bidah or shirk practices is labeled as wahabi nowadays. Any Muslim in the subcontinent who asks for proof from Quran or Authentic Hadith and asks if the Salaf did these practices is labeled as wahabi nowadays. These same “Hanafi”Muslims who are out here calling everyone wahabi would have called Imam Abu Hanifa a wahabi too because for y’all anyone who tries following Quran and Sunnah strictly is wahabi.

It is on watch list of next conflict zone before the decade draws to a close.

But even if the literacy is doing well, there are two groups of people who could be manipulated by foreign powers:

- fundamentalist leaning religious
- militant atheist secularists
And they hate each-other

Luckily both are reasonbly under control atm.
I have been on reddit subs, its mostly frequented by millenials and younger people. Many of them are openly hateful against muslims and islam, that too in a official Bangladesh subforum. I think thats the ugly side of increased wealth.

This is nothing more than regionalism like you see in countries like Japan and France.

Pakistan is a legal entity formed out of a multitude of ethnicities. There is no natural reason it should even exist just like India.

BD society and economy will motor ahead over the next 15-20 years and show the inherent supremacy of unitary states like BD.

You misunderstand me.

Every country has a little rivalry/snobbery between different parts.

Even here in the UK the southerners think they are better than northerners etc.

It is no big deal and nothing like the total separation between different ethnicities you find in Pakistan and India.

BD is unique in S Asia as it is so homogenous and so naturally should be far ahead of either India and Pakistan.

If it got independence in 1947, little doubt that BD economy would have been around as large as India's now but that is one of those "what ifs".
