There was only stone pletting no buses were burnt as u would like to imagine.

Other than people who werent involved in rioting who might have got killed by mistake, rest of them arent by any chance victims

Sadly, it is. I am from the very city in question here. I have seen riots from Babri Masjid when i was a kid, to Bombay blasts during my teens and now. People were upset on about the lack of security arrrangements as few disturbances were anticipated to happen. Inspite of that I in no way support their actions. This does not give the cops a license to take a clear shot at civilians. There are certainly better ways to silence a mob or riot.

Come on! u can do better than that. Are you telling me, there was a 50: 1 ratio between the police and unarmed civilians.


The very fact that the Cheif Minister YSR had to make an public appology bares testament to the fact that the entire event was mishandled.

Not to mention that argument within the ranks and the subsequent enquiry put in place to find out who ordered the firing!!!

But then, you are free to twist the facts to suit your purpose.
