The DG ISI General Shuja Pasaha has said Haqqani network can operate from 7 Afghan provinces.


While briefing the political leadership in All Pakistan parties Conference, General Pasha said Haqqani network was not operating Pakistan.

He further revealed Haqqani group has a total control over 4 Afghan provinces while in the 3 provinces it exercises considerable influence.

Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani told a gathering of the country s political leaders on Thursday that the United States must stop blaming.

Islamabad for regional instability, as Washington stepped up pressure on Islamabad to crack down on militancy.
"The blame game should end, and Pakistan s sensitive national interests should be respected," he said in comments carried live on local television stations.

Pakistan military officials, who set security and foreign policy, were expected to brief the meeting on a crisis in relations with the United States.

Meanwhile, political and military leadership including Chief of army Staff reached Prime Minister’s house to watch the All Parties Conference.

General Khalid Shamim Wyne , according to report, is also attending the All Parties Conference. Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar is also back from the US and has reached the PM house to attend the moot.

The other noted leaders who reached to attend the APC include Nawaz Saheif, Chaudhry Nisra Ali Khan, President Awami Muslim League. Sheikh Rashid, Sajid Navi, Mir Israrullah Zehri, Haji Hanif Tayyab Defence Minister Ahmed Mukhtar. Jalaj Mehmood Shah andSahibzada Fazal Karim

Meanwhile Imran Khan has alleged that The US would was going to declare ISI a terrorist organization.

The meeting will discuss the security situation arising out of recent US allegations.

Agencies add: Pakistan s political and military leaders are meeting to formulate a response to US. allegations that the country s main spy agency is supporting Afghan insurgents. The claims have triggered fears here that America may launch military action in Pakistan.

Intelligence chief Lt. Gen. Ahmed Shuja Pasha will address the gathering later Thursday in the capital Islamabad.

Adm. Mike Mullen, America s top military officer, last week accused the militant Haqqani network of being a "veritable arm" of the Pakistani spy agency.

Pakistan has denied the allegations, and accused Washington of making it a scapegoat for its failures in Afghanistan.

And these retards accuse that they operate from Pakistani tribal area. Hypocrites, control them in Afghanistan first, then ask Pakistan to 'do more'.
