Afridi’s message to Pakistanis on Independence Day

KARACHI: Pakistan Twenty20 (T20) captain and heartthrob of the nation Shahid Khan Afridi has left a special message for the all Pakistanis on Independence Day.

Skipper took his official Twitter account to share his thoughts & message with his nation.

In his tweet, he said “It is the last sunshine of Pakistan’s 68th birthday. Stepping into 69th birthday, lets promise to make that righter for my people, my nation and my country.”

One day before !

Lord Mountbatten transferred powers to Pakistan on the 14th at Karachi and to India on the 15th at Delhi 'cause he couldn't be at two places at the same time. Legally it was supposed to be 15th but we stuck with the day when it was actually transferred to us and celebrate 14th August as our Independence Day !

So we gave independence to pakistan before India then. At least Pakistan became independent before india.
