But you cant teach everybody, my neighbor just bought the fire-crackers of Rs16000/-.
My God 16000. One can give CCNA exam fee and find better job. :(

Yup, and if you double that, that is around 32000 PKR.

Total wastage of money, I could even buy that a high-end phone from it. Maybe Moto X 1st gen in exchange offer. :(

huge actually. But Diwali is single most important festival for Hindu community and is associated with prosperity and happiness and therefore people splurge on this occasion, buying and shopping heavily and enjoying.
Shopping and eating is appreciated but avoid firecrackers.
