how can a year be short? isnt years every where a constant (exactly one revolution of earth around the sun). It doesnt matter which culture/tradition you follow, the earth goes around the sun the exact amount.

usually the number of months in the year or number of days in a month change depending on weather you follow sun cycle or moon cycle.

Year is not constant/fixed in Hijri. Hijri year is based on Moon (354-5 days), and Georgian on Sun (365 days).

No brother. It is 72 years by Hijri calendar.

Hijri year is shorter than Georgian, as you know. So 35 Georgian years are 36 Hijri years. Hence 70 Georgian = 72 Hijri.

And change started when we hit 70 Hijri years ... just look at past 2 years.
