Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi speaks out in defense of Ahmadiyya Muslims | Rabwah Times

Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi, who has not shied away from discussing controversial issues on social media, has this time spoken out in favor of religious freedom and criticized the country's growing intolerance towards Ahmadiyya and Shia Muslims.

In a post on Facebook this weekend, Mr Abbasi said,



If you think Ahmedis and Shias are non Muslim, then let ALLAH (SWT) decide their fate on the day of Judgement. Will you dare to punish, hurt or kill a human being for his faith and challenge ALLAH (SWT) on a matter that is only his domain? Judgement and punishment on matters of FAITH is only the domain of Allah (SWT).

According to a recent PEW survey, 66% of Pakistanis said they consider Ahmadis to be non-Muslim and 37% considered Shias outside the fold of Islam.

Ahmadiyya were declared non-Muslims through a constitutional amendment in 1974 by then Pakistani President Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. A decade later, they were barred from proselytising or identifying themselves as Muslims by military dictator Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. Since then followers of Ahmadiyya Islam have been subject to severe persecution in Pakistan.

Well I consider myself to be a practicing Muslim, at least in basic terms, and I'm 100% against killing any innocent human being just because of his/her faith and this I learned from my beloved Prophet (peace be upon him).

they are already declared as minority. and we can not prosecute them or kill them they are ordinary citizen of Pakistan. we are talking about minority rights which given by islam to them

I know more than you but does it mean we kill them? I dare say NO. I don't consider them Muslim because believing in the finality of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him, his family and his companions) is the cornerstone and the fundamental belief. But if they don't believe in it, means they are not Muslim but we do not have to kill them for this. Let them live and give them all human rights. They will be dealt by Allah on the day of judgement.

Then they consider minority and we respect our minorities but they don't accept the constitution and call them Muslims thats why they prosicuted.

They are non-Muslim, but we are talking about their right to live, they have the right to live and they have show their allegiance to the constitution of Pakistan. why you think I give a ...
we have more pressing issues than worrying about Ahmediyah faith and who supports it
we got no electricity. our money has been looted away. India has blocked our water and now using proxies via Afghanistan. Saudi funded Muslims are beheading our soldiers and killing our kids in school
and people have the spare time to decide about the fate of shias and ahmedis?

I request all relgious blowhards to please tag me if you want to talk about anything thing else and trivial like the colour of fruit or duration of a typical commercial break but please dont tag me on religion otherwise my blasphemy might be your sin too

Who care us if they call us since we are majority and the whole world know we are Muslim . By definition, a person who believes in the oneness of Allah Almighty and that Holy Prophet Muhammad-e-Arabi (Peace be upon him) is the last and final messenger of Allah. This is very clear. And when the world talks to Muslims, do they talk with us or them? and we have already declared them kafir and that is good. The only thing we have to make sure is that they do not get to key post and sensitive info because we cannot trust them but still they have THE RIGHT to live.
