It is much like the US bombed Bach Mai hospital in Hanoi in Dec 1972, the biggest hospital of Vietnam then and now, and killed 28 hospital staff and unknown number of patients.

We detected the B-52s flew to Hanoi, we heard the bombs, we saw the Bach Mai hospital totally destroyed.

But we had no video clip in which the American pilot pressed the button to drop the bombs onto the hospital. So no evidence. There was still a chance that North Vietnam missiles, while aiming the American aircraft, mistakenly shot the hospital.

Consider that Hamas placed MLRS systems in residential areas, using children and women as human shields.

I do not say the two cases are exactly the same. The Wikipedia link is to provide information on how America behaved, which is comparable to how the Jewish state behaving now.

They claimed that North Vietnam stationed anti aircraft unit inside the hospital, which was a lie. There were anti-aircraft units stationed near the hospital (within 1 km radius), but not inside the hospital.

There were many similar lies from the America in 1972 about their targets of schools, hospital and living quarters in Hanoi.

Except that the NYTimes initially placed the responsibility for the attack on Israel and was forced to retract only when evidence to the contrary emerged.
