This will be controversial, but i don't think Hamas should militarily engage Israel 1 to 1. The Israeli response is always disproportionately higher, many Palestinians die, huge amounts of damage is caused and Hamas does not have a strategy that will lead to victory. It is important that they retain the capacity to do so and build it up so they can inflict some actual damage (like widepsread access to anti tank weaponry, or MANPAD's to target helicopters/low flying aircraft), but right now they can't do any real damage to IDF and in return for their misadventures too much harm is done to Palestinians.

If only they have a proper air cover, Israel can be beaten. The reason Israel uses a disproportionate response is because of the air power. If Hamas can get a cover they can surely engage Israel 1 on 1.

Hamas received some essential , not enough , equipment. But to arm them more, we need a boundary. West bank is surrounded by Jordan and Gaza with Egyptian Sinai. Both these countries have security agreements with Israel, now ask yourself how can we send them proper equipment?!!! Morsi is long gone. OIC should ask Jordan to open boundary on west bank residents, we can arm them

If Iran wants to arm them can't they send 1000 drones to Palestinians each carrying crates with all kinds of weapons?

Israel won't be able to shoot them all down.

Or better yet send 10,000 empty drones over Israel first and while their air defenses are busy shooting them down you send the actual goodies to palestinians.

You will lose some money/drones but you will achieve your goal.

For what it's worth these groups are the only and I mean only thing in the way of Israel simply chucking all Palestinans out and building housing for Jewish migrants from Russia etc. To Isrealis being non Jew living in what they think is "Ersatz Israel" or Greater Israel is enough provocation. And we have the history from 1948 demonstrating this.

I think the Holcaust taught Jews to only respect force. Naked military force. They use it at every corner. Might is right. Therefore these groups are the only headache the Isralis have in their way to build "Greater Israel". These groups and their Iranian donors are the threat to Israel. If my son was adopted by Bill Gates his life would improve in every normal indicator you care to mention. Does that mean we should "farm out" our children?? Yes, I accept living standards in Gaza have gone up and indeed occupied Palestinians enjoy living standards well above most Pakistanis.

But they are occupied. Don't ever forget that. Your backside (or your grandparents) shipped out of Europe to Palestine because they wanted their own country. They did not jump on migrant boats to underdeveloped West Asia in 1940s from developed Europe because of poverty etc Ditto for Palestinians.
