The media here make a big cry of Iran. As the Republican primary is going on, they want to make a mark. The easy point is talking about Iran. I don't think this is not the case and the public wants the troops back from Iraq and Afghanistan. US may indulge in covet operations to get rid of Iran's nuclear reactors. Idea about attacking Iran wont come till Obama is in power.

“We’re seeing countries start to come in and infiltrate. We know that Hamas and Hezbollah are working in Mexico as well as Iran with their ploy to come into the United States,” Perry said.

He continued: We know that Hugo Chavez… and the Iranian government has one of the largest — I think their largest embassy in the world is in Venezuela. So the idea that we need to have border security with the United States and Mexico is paramount to the entire western hemisphere.”

Very bad thinking. We should not wish bad for any nation, especially not for a nation that we have no disputes and no problems with.

Dont forget, Iran was the first nation on eath to recognize Pakistan in 1947. Muslims should unite against the enemies of Muslims.

If American government's targets are first Iraq, then Afghanistan, then Libya, then Iran, then what makes you think Pakistan will not be in their list. Pakistan is also an Islamic Republic, and American media and American government has become very anti-pakistan recently.

regardless of the business cycles, Iran would never be a walk in the park; it isn't like Afghanistan or Iraq. An air campaign to take out nuclear facilities would set their program back (at best) but wouldnt stop it.

an attack on Iran is a deadly mistake --- and I think countries in the region need to be more vocal about it. It will have EXTREMELY destablizing effects not just in Persian Gulf but regional countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, C.A.R.s
