It depends what your definition of "good" is....

There are many other Islamic search engines some of them are present and some of them closed for some of their own reasons.

Doesn't matter. People wanted it, google provided it. Though in some ways its a good thing, because you can not leave children using google unsupervised. e.g, children might try to search something on google and **** might come up. Though it does not necessary has to be labelled "halal". It can be called a more child friendly google, regardless of what you call it, at least the technology is there for those who need it, and is being improved upon..

PS: Oh wait, this halalgoogle , I guess is not made by the original google, but is a more plagiarized version of it. I guess this technology would just suck...oh well.. I wont be using it though.

I can see what you're saying. But I still don't see the point.
Why not just use filtering, safe search on google? or parental controls on pc? It's all made for this purpose.

Well, whatever the purpose may be, I don't see this becoming a success or widely used at all.
