What's new

HAL’s global projects hit air pockets after aircraft crashes

A few failures do not mean HAL can't get anything right. But it is true, when you are an up-and-coming organization like HAL is, failures in such high numbers and importance is not good for business. That said, I still expect HAL to become a successful defence exporter in the future, just don't expect any overnight successes.

You are obviously new here, because you will find the exact opposite happening most of the time. It seems the lives of certain Indians revolves around poking fun at Pakistan, and claiming how India is much superior to us. There are only a handful of Pakistani members who return the favor, which is good, because that is something called "class".

From this it is quite obvious that you are also one of those whose "priority is to make fun of our developments and argue you are more superior." That not only makes you cheap, but a hypocrite as well. As for the statement, "China copies others, Pakistan copies China", is this taught in Indian schools? it seems every Indian has memorized this line and will try to mask all their failures with it. It's sad, really, because India's "indigenous" programs haven't exactly amazed anybody, least of all your Armed Forces who are stuck with them. Anyway, you haven't said one thing here that was even remotely related to the thread, so I'll leave you alone now.

I am looking for the source for the second statement about the Dhruv crash being pilot error, but I can't find any. Can you please provide it? Also, I believe poster's claim was that the second Su-30MKI crash was not due to pilot error. It was either caused by poor design or build, but either way, it reflects poorly on HAL. This much even the maddest HAL fan will have to admit, losing a $60 Million won't be good for business.

Well let's get the facts straight and im not belittling Pakistan in anyway but India is superior to Pakistan but when it comes to China we are inferior.. it's the way world works man.. When we say India is superior it does not mean that Pakistan is useless of good for nothing.. you have your constraints and we have ours.. And for one to grow in life one has to look to someone who is better than himself and then strive to achieve what the guy above you has achieved.. thts ecactly the case with India.. We see China as our competition and Pakistan as nuisance which is it actually for the world. (no offense but it's a fact.).. We strive to match China or achieve what they have achieved and we will one day.. You guys seem to be in time-wrap you can't accept India to be superior and that's your problem not ours. It's the Pakistani psyche by large, and hence your fascination with China but sadly you're not doing anything the way Chinese did.. they worked hard to prosper and your establishment works hard to destroy India. There's the difference.

Stupid Generalizations
If the HAL manufactured MKI crashed, then how in he|| do you say that all MKI's manufactured by HAL will be defective? I forgot that there were a couple F-22 crashes in California........ oh dear these Americans are such amateurs. :usflag:

And just by this thread, i understand the mentality of some here ^^. The reason INDIA is progressing is because we don't give one crap about Pakistan's problems. Our first priority is to grow...... your priority is to make fun of our developments and argue you are more superior.

So, before you talk about HAL. May i know what "indigenous" projects have Pakistan succeeded in without copying china, which copies others =)

Al-Khalid or Type 96?

HAL is the best friend of Chinese/Pak airfoces.

hundreds of fighters maintained/repaired/built by HAL have crashed during training in the past, you have to give a big thank you to HAL for their contribution to the safety of the region.

i totally agree with my chinese friend.and an advice to my pakistani brothers.please dont curse HAL.If HAL would not be there we would had been facing an INDIAN AIR FORCE Having 2500 fighters.

Babur wasn't a copy =) I never said it was.
And good sir, the Al-Khalid is based on TYPE 96 CHINESE. Don't compare Arjun with it, because atleast half of the equipment from it are INDIAN. What % of Pakistani material is Al-Khalid?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Khalid_tank#Development

Yup, your joint ventures are a success and ours are all failures. All our projects failed, and India's economy is in a state of not being able to afford any more development :yahoo:
- Brahmos
- Barak
- AAD
- PAD.

And, thank goodness you don't make Indigenous (chinese) ventures and progress. It's helping us very much.

Good point made......India's budget is much bigger than Pakistan's. So stop comparing those two together when we are at a much higher level

Thanks to HAL, DRDO for their efforts. Those who are questioning over India's indigenous efforts, please answer how many developing countries you know who have their own nuclear submarine? How many countries are developing Gen 5 fighter other than Russia, China and India? Did Pakistan ever dreamed for an own Aircraft carrier, Stealth frigate or Assault Helicopter? :disagree:

Failure is an integral part of success. Genies doesn't exist in real. And thanks for the consistent criticism, it gives us new energy.

PS: I love to see you people criticize our projects :smitten:

Pilot error caused Dhruv crash in Ecuador: Probe | Siasat

Sir about the second crash of Su-30 i dont know what happened..I searched for it but coudnt find any regarding the cause of the accident..I just pointed out that only two of them is crashed till it is inducted in IAF

. . .
HAL bashing is associated with every crash... having worked for HAL i very well know what it is capable .. it draws unnecessary flak.. didn't know it was a dead thread

Where the hell do you find this article ??/ :) You spend so much time for searching some article which is anti-indian. Instead you should do some hardwork and read technical features of India's defense products and then decide yourself.

Guys, you seem to have revived an ancient 2-year old and irrelevant thread. Just quit it and let it go to eternal slumber.
