Had a RTA , car destroyed but I am well

It must be hard for you, if you loved your car.. I had same kind of accident 6 months ago.. Even though I didnt had any injury because the car was strong, a side of the car was destroyed... Tears were coming out from my eyes and I just wanted to kill that auto driver..

had given an indicator to turn right u-turn... so i was very slow -- fast rickshaw driver tried to overtake me from the wrong way i.e by jumping into opposite side traffic

U-turn are always dangerous. No wonder, in States, U-turns are not allowed.

the other driver had a lacerated leg as before hitting me, the rikshaw skid ahead /tilted.. and then flipped after hitting me

seriously it was some final destination movie scene

the rickshaw has been taken back from the police station so i guess he was ok..
i didnt press any charges

will go for denting / painting on monday .. the door of drivers seat is destroyed along with half of bonnet/hood however the new civic is drivable .. front bumper and front door had to be removed to drive it though --- drove it my self to the hospital with constable sitting e me

most of the glass/mirrors are destroyed.. my hair and shirt were full of the broken wind screens etc but god saved my eyes.. as i wasnt wearing sun glasses at that moment

Material possessions can always be repaired or renewed or replaced. Just concentrate on your healing first, and the car later.

God was with you if you survived that . My friend and his family 2 months ago had a crash on a high way, car skidded and overturned couple of times and stopped , none of them got a scratch as they were wearing a seat belt including the kids in the back ...

head concussion etc , bruises , slight fractures, my drivers screen broke on my face --- rickshaw driver hit me at 70+ speed at 90 degree to my door
1 second before impact, the rickshaw skid a few inches.. god saved me.. otherwises i was a gonner
