What's new

Gwadar- turn it into a liberal city.

we don't have sharia but we have elements of it.
what time is it where you live?
Yea bloody elements which are misquoted or taken out of context or more like taken from the context of some jahilah book rather than anything from shariah ...almost 3am...

saudi arabia seems exotic and they got security and good hotels ect.
but nobody wants to go there lol.
There is only so much exotic in a desert! Many want to go there for the $$ but many cant go coz of the strict rules/ visa...heck getting haj or umrah visa is already tough not sure about tourism visa

thats why we need this lol. we will basically gain billions in revenue plus imagine all the technology we will get, like hong kong did to china.
Bro who will regulate it when our own cops would be drunk on duty or busy gambling their daughters/wife away? (it is a fact how people sell of their kids/wives as properties to pay debt!)

well thats what we will happen, we all have our own views of sharia it will always be taken out of context.

ok what about kuwait? or qatar?
why is dubai doing better then rest of them? because they opened up.

be realistic, we have gambling here in america and al that, you don't see that happening here.
besides that new ggwadar will have complete law and order. people will be tax payers.
cops will get fired if they drunk on duty.

.
i disagree for one reason
i think pakistanis who don't want to live in a sharia state should have an option to live in an area with these freedoms without ring abroad.
we already have these permits ect.

Since when was Pakistan a Shariah state?? :what:

if we have casinos and bars and clubs ect
the people will come.
it is already at such a good location.
it will be our own europe in pakistan.

Well, there are millions of foreigners out there who visit places for more than just gambling.

Egypt also had a very good tourist industry, i don't think they had casinos.

Why Gwadar? Why not Karachi? It already is a city of 20 million and can develop much faster. Just think you will improve living standard of 20 million people and prevent terrorist from disturbing economic hub of Pakistan. Save Karachi from militant problem too, you want to save small city like Gwadar but not Karachi?
This is a thread about Gwadar, i don't know from where Karachi comes in.

Dubai is well planned...they have money and they used it wisely in what is called investment rather than waste it on their waistline!

In America alot of things dont happen that happen in Pakistan! Its the people's mentality, lack of education and also just jahalat!
Yes but that doesnt happen here our law and order is far from the law and very far from any order anyone can find

@qamar1990

When taking surveys I am yet to see people responding something like there should be more gambling sites or even more nude beaches ....If a country has nothing to offer that is when it reels in the fish with these tactics ;)

.
Well there are a lot of other things also that are clearly forbidden in Quran , but instead of being "punishable" , they are legally sanctioned .... "Riba" for example is a much "bigger sin" than gambling or drinking , but the whole banking system of "Islamic" Republic of Pakistan is based on it !! ...... Ham dhoka kis ko de rahay hain bhai ? khud ko k Allah ko ?

If something wrong is already in practice does not mean you should allow more harmful things to take place. And secondly, i don't think majority of Pakistanis would agree to allowing gambling in Gwadar or any other city of Pakistan.

That's like saying since we already borrowed a lot of money from the IMF and are in debt therefore we should borrow more money and increase our debt since we are already in debt.

its one city that will be specially zoned to allowed these things. it is for the advancement of pakistan.
just look at what hong kong did for china.

.
Well, as long as we continue to face this militant problem and other social issues that is pretty much the only solution.

Why Gwadar? Why not Karachi? It already is a city of 20 million and can develop much faster. Read your post and then read my post.

so i have was thinking that the government of pakistan should turn gawadar into a liberal city.
what do i mean by this?:

1.have a defined boundary for gawadar
2.have its own laws
- complete freedom of speech
- alcohol is legal
- gambling is legal
-complete freedom of religion
- have its own special police force
- completely independent of balochistan
3. pakistanis from rest of pakistan would have to get special permission to work and live there.
4. the whole citys prices of goods and wages should be completely different from pakistan
- pick any european country ( follow its wages and prices for goods)
- if a bottle of pepsi costs a dollar then in gawadar it should be 100 rupees
- if minimum wage is 8 dollars an hour then in gawadar we should make it 800 rupees an hr
- and so on.
basically gawadar will become the hong kong of of pakistan.

what do you guys think?

Does your liberal Gwadar include, legalizing prostitution, strip clubs, dollhouses, massage parlors, beach sex, drugs, casino betting, gays, peadophilia too?

.
its one city that will be specially zoned to allowed these things. it is for the advancement of pakistan.
just look at what hong kong did for china.

Creating a sin city won't really do any good. With gambling and casinos comes crime and corruption, which Pakistan currently is not lacking in however the goal should be to keep a brand new city clear of such elements.

Hong Kong belonged to Britain first that is why it is the the way it is.

bars, strip clubs, gays, -----yes
peadophilia -hell no
dollhouses-- already exist in pakistan so why not gawadar?
beach sex--- no
massage parlors ---yeah why not?

now change my name man

Hong Kong belonged to Britain first that is why it is the the way it is.
yeah exactly
look at the rest of china compared to hong kong!
hong kong prospered and once china took back hong kong it allowed hong kong to stay the way it was.
