German export guidelines from 2000 say weapons should not be sold to nations at imminent risk of armed conflict. "India not only falls into this category as a nuclear power," Roth said, "it also lies in a highly unstable conflict zone."

Myself with spark ,once the deal is over they will come to their terms for this and that ... I wish we gotta some activist from India ,Pakistan or china stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan where these bunch of scoundrel nations fighting WOT since 10 years for nufing ...

Not to forget the defense deals with lesser EF partners like Spain and Italy with our adversaries.. I dont think our purchase on EF has zero effect on these countries.

At least we should change the old .303 rifles to INSAS in the police forces since I read somewhere that INSAS cost only 10k.

the MSMC hasnt been developed by the OFB,so you dont see it being distributed.

the fact is unless you arent an arms enthusiast and have seen the civilian products that OFB manufactures you have no idea what crap it makes ,for eg the 9mm ammo for glock is so poor that the gun jams when using OFB ammo(poor ammo can cause a gun to malfunction).

MP5 costs some 1000 dollars and the glock 500-600 dollars and they are cheaper than OFB made stuff which is outdated in reality.

zittara i feel will be given off to infantry regt. as all SF are using its imported versions.

a good way is send the OFB gunsmiths to courses in australia/germany/switzerland which have great gun design courses but the govt. wont spend these few bucks to train them.
