Three police officers were injured after being attacked by gunmen outside a police station in Saudi Arabia’s Qatif region on Monday night, a security spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior said.

The gunshots from the unknown offenders came from a nearby farm, Major General Mansour al-Turki said. The incident follows four deaths which took place during a police raid in the same village last week.

“While a number of security men were in front of the Awamiyah police headquarters discharging their duties, they were exposed to heavy fire by unknown people from a neighbouring farm which wounded three of them, one critically," the official Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Major General Mansour al-Turki.

Such an attack will only make security officials “more determined and keen on executing their sacred duties in maintaining security and confronting these terrorists along with those who support them financially or morally,” al-Turki added.

All three officers were taken to the hospital for treatment while security officials began their investigation to find those responsible for the attack.

ironic, in Syria they are called "freedom" fighters, in Saudi "Arabia" are called terrorists... :coffee:

Al-Asshead regime propaganda. No sane person believes in those fairytales.

Besides you will never see "a Syria" in KSA. No minority is ruling the majority in KSA and oppressing them. Nor are there any hostilities despite there being many different historical regions and provinces that differ in terms of history, geography, culture somewhat etc. Or the fact that you have every Islamic madahib present in KSA.

No news anyway. 2 terrorists killed 2 policemen and the police opened fire as a result and killed those two terrorists.

Only a minority in one city in the Eastern Province, Awamia (30.000 big), is causing problems. Otherwise complete calmness.

You calling killing peaceful protestors?

How about the children that your dear Al-Asshead killed in the hundreds? What about all those children that were kidnapped by the regime and have never been seen since?

Nobody had any problems with your Al-Asshead (KSA had close ties with him) until he started killing his own people and attracting the enemies of our region (Iran and Russia) to help him kill "his" people.

KSA had no close ties with Syria, there were normal ties... anyways, that kid died while he was accompanying a terrorist group attack on a military base in Dara, and that wasn't the first day of the conflict...

Many atrocities were committed by your lovely regime before the conflict and in the very beginning and to this day. This has created animosity and attracted radicals. But the blame need to be put on your regime. If people were happy nobody would have rebelled.

Al-Asshead regime also started targeting all those thousand of Saudi Arabians that lived in Syria or had married Syrians or vice versa. Many Saudi Arabians have ancestral ties to Syria and vice versa! Same tribes live in both countries. Just a tiny strip of Jordan territory is separating us.

Close or not the relations were not problematic at all.

If KSA wanted to topple your regime they would have tried to stir something up long before. This conflict was started by Syrians against Syrians (the regime).

No amount of propaganda is going to change that or talk about any outside job.
