Gujarat soon to have 7,000mw surplus power: Narendra Modi

inaction during riots doesnt mean wilfull inaction....given the state of police in india it was to his credit riots were stopped completely in 3 days..

What is will full inaction? Inaction itself means lack of will to take an action.

Somehow Secularists always remember to target him though he stopped the riots from spreading completely. If he was complicit, he would never have done that. Wonder where were these bloody secularists when my kind and Kashmiri pandits were massacred.

These same sub-human variety of secularists cried fowl when Hindu right wing destroyed an art gallery by that moron MF Hussain who drew offensive paintings to hurt the sentiments of our mainstream Hindu brothers, but didn't have the ba!!s to say anything when Salman Rushdie was barred from coming to Jaipur Literature Festival.

Secularists all over India are one and the same: two-faced, fence-sitting, corrupt and cowardly.

Dude what's up with all the ad hominem, makes you look like an idiot. Come up with something more logical and constructive which deserves a reply.

inaction could also be in the context of not sufficient action due to lack of resources.....

That's a whole different debate which will make the thread to go haywire. However as long as economic growth of Gujrat is concerned, dare I say Modi haven't done anything magical. Gujrat's growth was pretty average, lower than high performing states, higher than non-performing states and lower than that of Gujrat's growth rate in 90s.

In case of HDI, Gujrat's performance is rather bad.

Can you please drop this word...... Secularists.
Other than that your first point is valid and as far as your second point goes they did hurt the religious feelings of people and it was the mob pressure that led Hussain to leave and barred Rashid's return.

Sorry for the harsh usage but truth is many a time, cold and harsh. I am just putting it the way it is based on a personal-level careful research on my behalf on the behavior of those people who keep beating the "secular" drum. Being a Buddhist, this gave me ample leverage to get into deeper engagements with secularist people thinking that I was "different". Mind you, I also believed in the secularists' garbage once and was a strong proponent.. until I realized their two-faced lies and started observing how these scum were creating trouble in NE, alongside foreign elements to trouble our demographic composition.

There was never really any media or political influence involved in my realization process. I will tell this personal fact to you honestly.

Bro, I am from a warrior community of mountain dwellers; 'paharis' as how plains-living Indians commonly call us mountain dwelling people, in Hindi. We have never bowed down to any external pressure of accepting culture and politico-religious beliefs from outside, with force. The Mughals tried it, central Asians tried it, Afghans tried it, Europeans tried it... all were dealt with in the same manner, thrashed and sent back to where they belonged.

The so-called "ghazi" Mughals and turkic tribes from central Asia have tried in the past to get us to change by invasion. While Bengalis fell for it and weakened the national cultural fabric (current Bangladesh), we thrashed the foreign influences of force out, thanks to my community and Gurkha community. The Brits being superpowers of that time, too couldn't handle our groups, while rest of India fell under them.

Judge by this; we don't mince words to appease anyone. Either it is plain hard truth or there's no discussion regarding it. With all due respect.

Ok even though I'm unable to get to the crux of your reasoning....still I'll assume you got valid reasons for hating secularists. But one thing I'm pretty sure that you believe a tap can only be turned on or off....there is nothing like a half turned on or half turned off in your dictionary.

I don't mince words to appease deluded people running away from reality, using fancy words to defend something fake and artificial.

What is fake and artificial? I constructed my arguments based on hard data and facts while you resort to demagogic harangue, what have Mughals, Afghans, Central Asial et all to do with performance of Gujrat's chief minister? Just for the sake of record only two Indian empire which were successful to thwart Mughal's at their heyday were Marathas and Assamese.

I'd prefer Nitish Kumar anyday over Modi. Modi seems to be all talk with very little to show off. I once read that some NRI Gujrati seminar will bring HDI comparable to India's whole GDP, well I don't think even 1% of the whole promised HDI materialized in Modi's tenure.

Only big industry Modi was able to bring in Gujrat was Nano by Tata, thanks to Mamata, while Gujrat doesn't face the constraint of lack of land in high agricultural states like WB, UP, Bihar and can easily source power from gas/oil rich middle east being on the west coast.

Same Here Brother I am from a the region of Kerala where neither British Nor the Mughal could rule even in there Dream... i Belong to a Family who Lost most of the elders & Youth, Men as well as Women Fighting these Scums ... They couldnt Fight us even when they had Best Fire arms while we had primitive Bows & arrows they had Superior numbers raging at a Difference of 5:1 with us... still we Kicked there a$$e$...

My Family was a Part of prestigious Nair army Nair Brigade - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia... we Defeated the Colonial Dutch & ended the Dutch rule in India Battle of Colachel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia... No one Could Challenge the Hindu state of Kerala when we where in Power... we gave equal treatment to people of every religion ... until 1947 now when we see modern Sickularist Leaders have arrived we r a Nobody in this State we & our community of Hindus r Pushed in corner ... we had enough of this Sicklarist ... we will not allow anymore Talibanization of Kerala & India... & Yes Modi is the Only person who deserves to be PM of India...

See there are a lot of things that are published and a lot of things that remain unpublished. Please don't try teaching me my region's history. It will only lead you nowhere.

It has nothing to do with Modi's governance; just the fact that my kind don't really use squishy soft words to accept what is not right. Which in turn is related to the false accusations that secularists repeatedly spit on Modi for. The irony is that despite the law themselves saying that he's not guilty over and over, these lot keep beating the dead horse.

A clear sign of political desperation by incompetents who have no intention for the good.

As for Gujarat's development... see where it was before Modi and where it is after him. It is very easy to criticize him but with a pathetic political system like in our country, it is next to impossible to do what he's done.
