What's new

Guess who has a new menu? PIA!

It is a good step but honestly, being a frequenct traveller, food in the flight is secondary or even a tertiary item on my preference list.
  1. Services, time and efficiency,
  2. Price and comfort
  3. Food and all other accessories
PIA should focus on well trained and courteous staff, online bookings and reservations, punctuality of flights, high level of maintenance and cleanliness, then if its adds this food, it will get a plenty of customers . However nice food but with mice running around on the isles is not a very appetising scene for me.

Nothing desi? If people wanted to eat Western stuff would they pay the expensive ticket for the delays and headaches to eat something they can from back at home? Terrible marketing ....People try to make their menu as international or as local as possible....I have been to many flights selling their food as an introduction to their land...

I like the Emirates menu concept as well; they serve food from the destination of the flight, sort of a pre-welcome to your destination.

. . .
They also need to reintroduce alcoholic drinks. Before the 70s, PIA regularly served alcohol.

MANY flights do that...I traveled to various countries and had to eat vegetarian but many flights do that welcoming....PIA is going all "Westernized" for what reason/ benefit? People can pay stay in their country if they want an all Western cuisine or wait till they land many restaurants offer it...How about advertising your own country even for those who transit to give them a taste to come back like proper tourism?! Pata nai PIA koi kiya problem agi?!

well current rates from Dubai - karachi - Dubai ... 744 AEDs Fly Dubai (two ways) while
