Baby boom is the last thing Turkey needs right now, you look at countries with higher population and most of them live in utter sh*t conditions...You can always promote something like that as state policy but the current population is more than enough.

Other Turkic countries like Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, however, need some pop. increase indeed.

Pakistan has a huge population growing at a big rate. How is that beneficial when a country's economy does not support such a population?

To have more people is to have more begging hands. This is how it is in developing world. That is why they re called Third World.

In which country, following principles of modern economy, there has been a population boom? Or which country has benefited economically due to population boom?

Slow down in population growth is a genuine problem. But it has happened in countries where economy has grown and population has reached higher standards of living. Its a paradox but its true that countries begin to worry about population slow down only when they have achieved a certain standard in living or a certain economic stability.

Having children in developed economies is expensive. Its just that overall expenses in life to maintain a certain living standard are so high, and it takes such a long time to reach the level of stability, that marriage or having children becomes irrelevant.

i am not old so healthcare is the least of my concern. my probolem is people. germans are reserved, selfish and hard to be friends with. tbh i did learn very important qualities like being indepedent but it's too much dawg. people got no empathy, warmth or sense of humor. they dont realise it until it's too late and then they gotta live with the consequences so they die alone and sometimes without having anyone to even collect the papers. sad

The Germans say the same when they come to Switzerland, many struggle finding friends so they move back, i guess this is the case in most western European countries.
I have talked to a secular woman in Turkey this summer, i mean someone whos muslim but doesnt pray, she said she moved to Hamburg and cried for months because nobody came to visit her in Byram and she wouldnt hear Ezan, she missed it even thought she isnt very religious, she was depressed like you, its a harsh environment when you move later.

I disagree. We are not in the 19th century anymore. The relationship between population and GDP (production) keeps weakening.

4th industrial revolution and AI will only automate more of the production. And you talked about middle income trap.

That and being an advanced society has to do with GDP per capita, not GDP.

If GDP stays the same while population shrinks, GDP per capita will increase.

If GDP shrinks while population shrinls faster, GDP per capita will STILL increase.

Faster population growth = lower GDP per capita.

Big populations will only become a burden more and more in the future as automation replaces more people.
