I will give an example to tell how difficult these terrains are.
my father is a govt officer posted in these areas 15 years ago.

Once for a visit to a remote place it took him 3 days to and fro for a mere 36 kms, all the distance by walk and crawling

SL army is hardly the force we need to either respect or emulate.

First - There army was in charge of operation
Second-guessing no question of human rights, don't know how many civilians died
Third- material support

So essentially the threat is not maoists but the liberal lobby with its funding from abroad. To that there is a provision in India; when the country is at war, the military forces have the power to override civilian government till the duration of war, in the matters of operational matters.

Since 2011 over 15600 Naxals has been Killed ,surrendered uptill Now while only 1900 CRPF personal Martyred since 2005

We Know how strong Naxal are they usually hide in remote jungles No threat to cities at all

while we see bomb going off in week or two in Quetta ,lahore ,Karachi
