Will Japan or Korea allow Saudi Arabia, UAE, Jordan or Oman if they want to do JV in Tanks, Self Propelled Howetzers, APC wheeled and Tracked and other ground forces related equipment to be developed and produced jointly.

Yea for Korea, but probably a no for Japan.

Japan can only r&d arms for defence purpose and they are not allow to export/import any offensive technology overseas
Unless the current constitute has changed, otherwise i will not see it happen soon

Pakistan Army HIT & HMC could have joined with the Japanese on their Ground vehicle program in 1980s would result in Pakistan being making its own Tanks, Self Propelled Howetzers, APC(wheeled & Tracked) and other utility and fighting ground vehicles and also engines too.

This relationship could have helped to bring out Commercial outcome to like JV of Pakistan Private sector and Japanese sector to have a Joint company of making cars and vehicles in Pakistan that we could say it our own.

Money and industrial capability! We can have money but we will be inviting and paying foreign investors if our industrial capability is lacking.

Its not easy to be self-sufficient in matters of defense. Even China isn't, regardless of its impressive industrial capability.

It look like a LEO2 (and predates Arjun)
