And thank you for your condolences !

I greatly appreciate the welcome. I'm ex-British army and my intention on this site is purely to understand the Pakistani viewpoint. I am certainly not here to cause any problems. Of course the huge tragedy in Peshawar meant that I needed to express my feelings of anguish and concern over this horrible episode. It is good for me to see that many on this site have views similar to my own. Such tragedies bring people closer together, not apart, no matter what the distance.

Also, I am a cricket fan. A very enthusiastic one too.

When we English have a cricket team good enough to take on the Pakistanis I will follow them to Pakistan. I think I will be waiting a while for my flight!

Hi all

I am living in England but also Russia too.

For the loss of your children in the awful massacre you are in my prayers.

Do you happen to be part of the Russian mafia in UK?

Also who is your favorite all time bowler and batsman?

Far from being in the Russian mafia I was in British military for many years. I have family in Russia.

I have some favourites amongst both batmen and bowlers. its hard to choose.

Bowlers - Shane Warne, for his sheer ability, Dennis Lillee for his pace or Michael Holding for both those reasons.

Batsmen - I am biased in that its Derek Randall. He was my batting coach
