Greek coast guard sinks refugee boat carrying 58 in Aegean Sea

. .
"Civilized people" aka real Barbarians :agree: i am sure that our Romanian friends will defend this too

. . .
What you are suggesting is that the Greek government agreed to participate in a staged act by lending one of their patrols boats and crew, so a Turkish Coast Guard could record them attempting to murder a group of refugees; which in turn makes the Greeks looks bad.

Well done bob. Nice reasoning.

You're thinking too much from a Turkish perspective only. Like a Turk! :smokin:

Merkel-Erdogan agreements, part of them covers Turkey's obligation to limit passage of refugees to an already bad in financial sense and severely overburdened with refugees/migrants Greece.
So, any "making Greece look bad" is negated at start already by the benefits of having to take care of less people passing through their country.
On top of that, they are currently getting relaxation of their reform commitments because of this crisis as a sweetener on top.

This all makes more sense if you know that public opinion is changing in Europe in regards to the numbers of migrants and their origin countries. As a consequence, immigration/asylum policies are being tightened and doors are literally closing more and more every day. There are already strict daily numbers of people allowed through and anyone not from Syria/Iraq/Afghanistan is rejected at Macedonian border as of yesterday. The remainder of the migrants, originating from Morocco and as far as Pakistan/Bangladesh are now facing getting stuck on Greek side of Macedonia/Greece border.

In any case, this is direced from elsewhere, Berlin probably.

You think a countries armed forces attempting to kill unarmed refugees is negated 'by the benefits of having to take care of less people passing through their country'? You really have a creative imagination. No country in the bloody world would want them being recorded whilst doing that. Sometimes events that occur are just as it is.

I don't know why I'm trying to even have a rational argument with you. Your post reeks with racism against Turks; You think you are superior as you are claiming that a Turk can not think with a neutral point of view, whilst at the same time you your self from the start have had a prejudice against anyone who isn't from the 'traditional western' countries; as proven by the photo you have uploaded. Shame on you. For both your claim that it was set up and your belittling post against other people.

There was no attempt to kill. Was probably all agreed in advance that Turkish vessel comes and picks them all up. Noone died, indicating Turkish coast guard was very close. You drown in under a minute at open sea if you can't swim as im sure at least some of the migrants couldn't, at least if news of how many can't swim and associated drowning stats are to believed.
Don't take this as some alluding to inferiority (the fact that some can't swim because they come from inland) of others like you ascribe to me below.

Okay....will make sure to cry myself to sleep tonight after this insight about me.

. .

You speak of Greeks not wanting to look bad in front of Turkey but on the video a member of Greek navy (by definition working on orders from the top) has let himself be seen (recorded by Turks no less) puncturing a life boat. I'm sure you can see how something doesn't quite add up here in this theory.

Relax boys. This was probably all staged....as per Merkel-Erdogan agreements earlier in the month....

These people took a night swim so they pass the word when they get back to camp that the door is closing rapidly. All nicely filmed so it can be shared on social media migrants use extensively to communicate with each other...

guys I met many ppl like him most of them are serious about what they talk
No....What type of mentality is that? If you don't agree with someone you argue with them!!!!!!

the same mentality like the one he answered.. you can argue your whole life to those europeans this wont change anything..

they are what they are.. go 1000 years back they are the same..

.
they are what they are.. go 1000 years back they are the same..
So you suggest that everyone should go and kill each other because of difference in opinion. That makes you what 'they were 1000 years ago'. This is vicious cycle; 'he kill me, i kill you'; never ending.....These are not nice things.....

.
Most people know me for my unorthodox opinions.

Refugees should travel with boats to very near islands ( e.g. Kardak - Imia) , Greece claims them from Turkey
and occupied some of them. Why not, if they travel to the near islands they are in low risk to sink.
Then we will see, who helps them and who has the authority there.

That is only an idea a vision.
