US Navy has plans to keep them until 2040, just recently Arleigh Bruke's received a new EW suit.

And what advantage gives them the Arleigh Burke-class without the critical weapons?
In my opinion it's just bluff to push the pricetag for French FTI frigates.

A credible source said that there are ongoing talks about the transfer of two ABs. I doubt though that this will ever happen.

Wouldn't 2 ABs put Greece on additional expenses? I doubt if US would make it a full release instead they can require those to be maintained according to their guidelines, it may end up being used as if rented and not fully owned. For the same price i am pretty sure Greece can purchase better options from France or Spain, even lease the money on national design?
