What's new

Greece chose SPIKE NLOS for Armed Forces

I dont know what you mean

you took imbros and tenedos in Lausanne although they should be Greek.

So even now u have two islands more than what u should.

Dont worry you will learn in a war what we mean

even only a quarter of the island of Crete belongs to Greece.
The 14 islands, islets and rocks around the island of Crete belongs to Turkey
1634254318848.png

according to the Treaty of Lausanne by 1923 , only one-fourth of the Island of Crete belongs to Greece.

even leftist politicans and generals says about it

In 1923 u didnt have any navy, all your navy had been destroyed by Averof some years earlier.

but now Turkey has the strongest Navy and Naval Industry in the region
but now Turkey has the strongest Military Power in the region
but now Turkey has the strongest Economy in the region
and now Turkey has great Missile Power in the region

RIP Greece in a war
smart USA-France never can fight Turkey for Greece
but Turks can fight everyone for MAVI VATAN ... We Turks did it 100 years ago
and in 1922, smart British-French-İtalians did not fight against the Turks for Greeks

Basically about deals the Air Force wants and SPICE and Rampage are included in the list.

150 km Rampage ? Turkey is huge country to compare with tiny Greece ... Greek Airforce can not enter Turkish Airspace

Greeks want to commit suicide themselves

Turkey has superior TRLG-230 and TRG-300 supersonic Missiles to produce thousands of them
all Greek Airbases , Jet Hangars , AD Systems , Military and Strategic Targets are in range of Turkish Ballistic and Cruise Missiles and long range guided Bombs TRLG-230 , TRG-300 , J600T , KGK-LR , SOM , ATMACA-K and BORA

Even AKINCI UCAVs can carry 4 TRLG-230 laser guided supersonic missiles with range of 150km

Don't worry, you already had two fighters shot down by HAF and way more by Cypriot AAA

I don't know where you people got this idea, but the Treaty of Lausanne had nothing to do with Crete, except for the population exchange.

Upon the outbreak of the First Balkan War, Greece finally recognized the union and sent Stephanos Dragoumis as the island's governor-general. The Great Powers tacitly recognized the fait accompli by the act of lowering their flags from the Souda fortress on 14 February 1913, and by the Treaty of London in May 1913, Sultan Mehmed V relinquished his formal rights to the island.

You are wrong, just like with the demilitarization of the islands of eastern Aegean. It's not that these were in the Treaty of Lausanne, but that Turkey wants to reopen the Treaty of Lausanne and change the agreements.

Supposedly they want it to strike the S-400s as the HARM don't have that range.

No sir,we only want to defend our country from the predatory habits of certain countries.

Here we go again...

RESULT : Turkish Armed Forces took 1 of 3 of Cyprus within 2 days in the 2nd operation

I don't know where you people got this idea, but the Treaty of Lausanne had nothing to do with Crete, except for the population exchange.

Our Generals and Politicans very well know about the Treaty of Lausanne 1923 and 1913 London - Bucharest agreements about the Crete

No sir,we only want to defend our country from the predatory habits of certain countries.

Eastern Mediterranean is not your Country which is 500+km away from the Greek Mainland
by international law , Greece has no any right in the Eastern Mediterranean

on the other hand , Turkey has the longest coastline in the Eastern Mediterranean

Here we go again! Doing the same conversations over and over and over. It took weeks for the war to end and no it wasn't because of your supposed "waiting". Dream on.

If your politicians know well, then they don't tell you the whole truth. You're trying to RE-OPEN the Treaty of Lausanne. You're searching for anything vague in there,to gain even a tiny grain of land. Truth is,Cretans decided to join Greece in 1908 and the union was recognized in 1913. Now,you can't do anything. And Cretans will fiercely fight against you, just like they did against the Germans.

@Apollon Can tell you more about it,he's from the south.

Eastern Mediterranean is not your Country which is 500+km away from the Greek Mainland
Oh do these three islands bother you? Oh I'm sorry.

You dream on

Turks won and Greek lost

At 04:30 in the morning of 14 August 1974, Turkish Forces in Cyprus took action for the 2nd operation
At the end of the third day of the Second Peace Operation, 38% of the island lands were captured and the targeted Famagusta-Lefke line was reached

between 1964 and 1974 Greeks also tried to steal whole Cyprus and Greeks have started killing the Turks in Cyprus

Greece does not have sole proprietorship on the island of Crete

The legal status of the island was determined by 4 agreements

-- the Treaty of London on May 30, 1913
-- the Treaty of Bucharest on August 10, 1913
-- the Treaty of Athens on November 14, 1913
-- the Treaty of Lausanne on July 24, 1923

Nowhere in Agreements is there a statement that the Island of Crete was abandoned, given or bound to Greece.

only A quarter of the island of Crete was given to Greece

Greece should immediately evacuate three quarters of the island of Crete and the 5 Turkish islands that it currently occupied by Greece around the island, namely Gavdos, Dhia, Dionisades, Gaidhouronisi and Koufonisi, and hand them over to Turkey.

Oh do these three islands bother you? Oh I'm sorry.

by İnternational law
a tiny Greek Island which is just 10 km2 and 580 km away from Greek Mainland and just 2 km away from Turkish Mainland can not generate EEZ of 200 nm

so Greek EEZ should start from Greek Mainland ,, not from every tiny Greek Island

There had been inter-ethnic violence on the island since the British occupation. That bull idea of "Greeks have started killing the Turks",is fabrication of history. They were both having skirmishes and animosity in various places. And lived peacefully in others.

Turks started nagging because they wanted more representation and more power on the island, contrary to the constitution and agreements.Basically they were a minority and wanted equal power or more.
1974,the Ioannides junta that toppled Papadopoulos had arrangements with the coup in Cyprus. Makarios was not popular, but the coup further weakened the Greek Cypriots. They wanted Enosis,Turks wanted two part solution or to grab the island. The rest is known.

Oh we now reached the point where you demand Crete too? Find the part of the Laussane Treaty that talks about Crete specifically,on the very Treaty and show it to me.

Greeks have started attacking the Turks in Cyprus
everybody knows about it

There were communal violence such as Bloody Christmas on December 21, 1963, which the Greek Cypriot police played a role and 2 Turkish Cypriots were killed

the exact opposite

Greeks wanted more representation and more power on the island

The Akritas plan was an inside document of the Greek Cypriot secret organisation of EOK that was authored in 1963 and was revealed to the public in 1966. It entailed the weakening the Turkish Cypriots in the government of Cyprus and then uniting (enosis) Cyprus with Greece

Sure body, everybody knows about it.Turks,Turkmens,Pro-Turkish Muslims.Yes. True story.

the exact opposite

Greeks wanted more representation and more power on the island
They already had more representation:

General executive authority was vested in a council of ministers with a ratio of seven Greeks to three Turks. (The Greek Cypriots represented 78% of the population and the Turkish Cypriots 18%. The remaining 4% was made up by the three minority communities: the Latins, Maronites and Armenians.)

A House of Representatives of fifty members, also with a seven-to-three ratio, were to be separately elected by communal balloting on a universal suffrage basis.

The Akritas plan was an inside document of the Greek Cypriot secret organisation of EOK that was authored in 1963 and was revealed to the public in 1966. It entailed the weakening the Turkish Cypriots in the government of Cyprus and then uniting (enosis) Cyprus with Greece
Doubtftul, controversial and in the end Makarios never allowed (or would have allowed it anyway).

This status continued in Lausanne as like the Treaty of London on May 30, 1913 and the Treaty of Athens on November 14, 1913

only a quarter of the island of Crete was given to Greece

also Article 12 says the islands situated at less than 3 miles from the Asiatic coast remain under Turkish sovereignty

tiny Casterolizo is just 2 km away from Turkish Mainland and 582km away from Greek Mainland

traitor ISMET INONU allowed Greeks to invade our Islands

You're not showing me the part where it says that. You insist it's written there. No official sources talk about it. Where is it?

even today Greek invasion is continues on our İslands

18 small islands in the South Aegean were illegally seized by Greece since 2004

Eşek, Koyun, Hurşit, Bulamaç (Farmakonisi), Fornoz, Nergizçik, Kalolimnoz, Keçi, Sakarcılar, Koçbaba, Ardacık, Gavdos, Dhia, Dionisades, Gaidhouronisi and Koufonisi.

The sovereignty over these islands, islets and rocky formations was transferred from the Ottoman Empire to Turkey

sooner or later there will be a war between Turkey and Greece

Admiral Cihat YAYCI who is the designer of Turkish EEZ plans in E. Med told that Greek side is openly violating the treaty by arming 23 islands delivered them with some conditions. If Greeks don’t obey the conditions in following period, The sovereignity of Greek on these islands will be questionable for us.
