Increase the salaries of local police too by 100-200% and many of the problems would be solved. Give them dignity and they will work with dignity.

A poor cop does not want to take bribes if his is paid enough. But since he's not, he starts taking bribes to survive and gets addicted.

This is just perception that police is more corrupt because you see them at roads mostly traffic police. They are like all other departments of Pakistan some are corrupt some are not. Corrupts are corrupt because they get chance to make money

We are not talking about corrupt being corrupt. We are talking about a sharif guy forced to be corrupt.

Theres a misconception that Corruption is related to low salaries. It is not. If it was no rich would have indulged in it. Or all poor would have indulged in it. But this is not true.
Corruption is linked with Human greed which is a inherent characteristic of Humans , its natural. Its present in every human what different is the scope.
