Govt revives plan to relocate GHQ from Rawalpindi to Islamabad

Is this an attempt to misguide the gullible? Because most people would know the difference as soon as they cross the Faizabad flyover into Islamabad ....... while coming from airport to Islamabad. And GHQ needs to be relocated from that place ...... no military installation should be anywhere near civilian presence ..... that's inconvenient for both military and civilians.

Agreed. Proposed site and Islamabad is a lot safer.

Islamabad has fewer entry/exits and easier to police than pindi. The E10 site or nearby that this complex will be built is the right place for GHQ, margalla hills on one side (for underground bunkers too) and movement in and out from one direction only. We are heading for a big war and this relocation is a must.

Pindi has far too many exists and entries and a security nightmare. GHQ of all countries need to be in a very secure location.
