Govt projects $28bn export target for FY22

After Afganistan gets "contained" I am expecting dramatic changes in Pak's short/long term finances......

With the RAW/CIA/MOSSAD etc. stationed to constantly kick at Pak's "soft belly" forget about the national finances, even the day-to-day survival becomes an issue.....

The only caveat is to prevent the return of the Bhuttos, Zardaris, Sherifs etc. at any cost......

As for the defense gadgets enthusiasts, some "surprises" may be there too....

i have also checked wiki page on Egypt economy it says their exports are above 80 billion USD and they are increasing it to 100 billion i think it was in Egyptian dollars
The Wiki page references the CIA factbook rather than official Egyptian statistics which was posted by @PakAlp.

Both Trading Economics and the OEC list it as $30 billion too.

Our foreign missions needs to play big part if we are really serious about increasing our exports, unfortunately the most of our foreign mission employees are corrupt to the core and their ultimate goal is to secure the natio0nality of that country for the families then serving their own country.

Let’s not call them corrupt, perhaps just call them mismanaged. We need to give them new orders from the top to focus on expanding economic initiatives in their host countries, alongside providing adequate services to the overseas Pakistani community.

For example, there isn’t a consulate in either San Francisco or Los Angeles. The largest Tech and entertainment hubs in the world, respectively. A couples of consulates there could facilitate our companies and workers greater access into these fields, which would expand our inroads in these fields very rapidly if done correctly.

Imagine if after PPP left PML-N had increased exports just by 8-10% a year they would have left with exports at $35b instead of stagnant at $25b (in fact for 3-4 years of their rule it had dropped below $25b).

PTI would have taken that $35b and made it around $55-65b by 2023.

Ok no problem, and yes they do export oil and gas, thanks for correcting me. According to this Egypt exports in 2019 were 30B
And My export figure is from 2020

Wikipedia also says 87B. Since the brother is saying its not true, I did more reading and found information where it says 30B in 2019. Quite a big difference indeed
There are 3 organisations who reports Worldwide figures for all countries, CIA - IMF and Worldbank. There are different ways to calculate it. In my view CIA exaggerating the numbers to high. Fx they said that Pakid export were up to 33 B.
and an Egyptian is earning 11,000 $ today:disagree:

Pakistan's total exports (goods + services) are indeed in the $30-33b range.

This is the figure for exports from SBP

Exports in FY21 for Jul-Apr were $25b with two months to go. Each month we have $2.5-3.2b of exports.
