Govt mulls ‘military offensive’ against TTP

We can see just how well Pakistan can deal with the Taliban, for anyone claiming they would still choose them. :D

Pakistan can deal with the Taliban all day long. As long as it's generals are clean and faitful. Unlike Bajwa who was an American dog. A well established fact by now.

You Americans only know how to buy Pakistani generals. You are hated by general populace.

. .
Clean and faithful Generals. They should be easy to find. Of course. :D

Another admission that you deal with corrupt generals. Something the ordinary people obviously know.

What I find extraordinary about you Americans is how you can look yourselves in the mirror after bashing Pakistan for so many decades. LOL it is funny how you guys have blamed the Pakistani army for so long and recently awarded Bajwa a medal. There is something very conflicting about you guys.

Homeboy, the contrarian extra ordinaire will ask empirical evidence along with official classified documents if he disagrees with your point whereas he himself will peddle horseshit all day with no proof.
I mean Indians themselves openly brag about their involvement in Balochistan, and they used ANA against Pakistan. TTP/JuA operated from within Afghanistan when American forces were at their most peak, but of course such support or covert Operations will never see official acknowledgments from the Govt's. America's interest right now is in strengthening Indian power in the region to prepare them to counter China, Pakistan is a hurdle for which they are helping Indians to keep Pakistan busy on its western Front or they will weaken Pakistan so much that Pakistan will have no choice but accept Indian dominance in the region, hence than they can fully focus on China. Do I evidence for that claim nope, but all the logical rational thinking points towards it.

.
One point to ponder over, where are the tribals in all of this? The TTP moves in and out freely and no one in the FATA takes responsibility for giving aid, succor and the freedom to operate to these terrorists. Where is the responsibility of the tribals in all of this?

The last time the operations were conducted to pacify these areas, an understanding was left with the tribals that they would not allow the TTP to establish a beachhead again. Yet clearly, the tribals too are playing both side of the fence. On one hand they decry government inaction, yet on the other, they are clearly hosting these elements operating across the Pak-Afghan frontiers.

The fact that they are now operating in all of KP and even in ISB goes to show the presence in Afghanistan, FATA and KP in general which are their launching pads.

Obviously, such "understandings" will need periodic reinforcement with suitable "persuasions".

Isn't that something you should ask yourself instead of posing as a question to the audience? Why are the tribals or the Balochis allowing so-called miscreants to mount attacks? Perhaps they are also sick and tired of double dealings by the Pakistani establishment which makes promises that are never fulfilled. This double dealing by both the political spectrum and the establishment is nothing new to the tribals. It has been ongoing since the days of Musharraf and even before that. The tribals were good guys when the CIA were allowed to use their territory to fight the Cold War. They became bad guys when the militants were left behind in their territories.

Now what do you exactly seek from the tribals after their lives got wrecked for so many years. At least give them the freedom to turn a blind eye to the hypocrisy posed by generals in uniforms. That is the least you can do.

You should have shut him down with just two words Kulbhushan Yadev.

Take your pick instead of peddling nonsense please.

You cannot afford to take on Taliban without US assistance.

Conducting military operations is an expensive affair. The past 20 years of operations against Taliban were funded by the US through the now much maligned CSF. Those funds allowed our helicopters to be refurbished, expended ordnance to be refilled, POL costs to be defrayed against the CSF accounts as well other massive costs of moving formations from their peacetime locations to staging areas and then conducting long, expensive operations.

As such, there is a clear indication of a lack of understanding of the realpolitik because in order to get business done, some understanding with the US at both the political and military levels is needed. Gen Bajwa is seen as an "American Dog" in your eyes because he saw the reality for what it was and dealt with the Americans. This has always been the case unless you were living in the fantasy land of Ertugral.

The general populace is fed anti-Americanism by our system that tends to put a negative light on all things American despite the fact that the US has been the single greatest provider of assistance to Pakistan in all of its history. Obviously this is not mentioned anywhere in our texts because it runs contrary to the nonsense that is peddled by our mullah/center of right leaning parties. Otherwise your Pakistani generals are as or more patriotic than your Khan sahib when it comes to the interests of this country.

Obviously in some capacity you also profit from American meddling in Pakistan.

If Pakistan is such a weak entity unable to take on the Taliban why does it continue to have a useless army armed with nuclear weapons? How much money does it require to feed one of the largest armies in the world since we are talking about spending money. Why not abandon this army all together which is unable to fight a war without money provided by outsiders? What purpose does an army serve when it requires money from outsiders to fight expensive wars as you claim?

The million dollar question, how will the Pakistani army fight India without US funds? I suppose when India wages a war against Pakistan, the Pak army won't last a day without funds from the USA? After all, fighting wars is an expensive undertaking as you claim.

It is your army that used the Mullahs for their personal benefit. These are the same Mullahs that are your heroes when you need them to wage a Jihad against the Russians during the Cold War. When you send them to Kashmir to fight your war.

Your army has a habit of pushing people under the bus. First you turn them into heroes and use them as allies. Once they are not required your army turns them into villains.

You are in a very tough spot now and all on your own. You wonder why the people have abandoned you. With the TTP and BLA wreaking havoc don't be surprised if people lack sympathy for your cause. Don't ask these questions because you should already know the answer.

That remains a popular, but totally false premise. No one, including USA and China, want a nuclear armed country destabilized. If anything, it is Pakistan that is destabilizing itself by accelerating its economic collapse.
US does not want a destabilized Pakistan? They have been funding terrorist groups around and inside Pakistan for many years now, aiming at killing Pakistanis and destabilizing Pakistan.

Establishment is again to blame for this with their cuck policies on Afghan refugees and pushing the parasitic Afghan bhai-bhai rhetoric with a known hostile country & people.

The local tribals have always been known to be sympathic towards TTP, the only time they fight alongside the state is when their own areas are threatened.

You can't win in arguing with these people either way.

If you leave them to it - they'll claim you left them to the wolves (TTP terrorists).

If you go in there for a military clean-up operation - they'll claim there's a pashtun genocide going on, especially those cringe human rights activists.

Just do what's ultimately in the best interests of Pakistan and use people who have public support (IK) to support your narrative. But no - instead they kicked him out when he could be the biggest asset if they just control him.

Please take a break from this self-flagellation. It seems to be the in vogue thing for a certain segment of Pakistanis. Everything that the state of Pakistan does is "double-dealing", bad, negative and promises unfulfilled, while their new found love for the BLA/TTP et-al is as if the latter are all fighting this evil, Pakistani empire very nobly, always holding on to their side of the bargain only to be betrayed by the men in khaki.

While there have been broken promises on the part of the government, far more has happened on the other side resulting in the situation we are in today. No use regurgitating what has been discussed over countless threads and pages here. Just stop with these silly and misplaced accusations in one direction only.

Keep patting yourself on the back. This time you really stand all alone. The people have figured you out. You are just like your generals interested in making money. That is the only purpose in life that you serve.

Stop giving lectures on how much you mean to Pakistan. Pakistan can survive without your existence and treachery. You don't own Pakistan just because you wear a uniform. The people are absolutely sickened by your double dealing. You are an American army. You are a Pakistani army only in name. Your actions have time and again proved that personal enrichment is the end goal. Only a fool would be worshipping the army in its current form.
